WAY TO CREATE A BLOG USING ( GOOGLE BLOGGER )

To start a blog on blogger or Google Blogger you need to follow some steps.

   

    1)  Google Account sign up

First, go to your Google Chrome Browser. In the right upper corner and click on the sign-in button to log in to your Google Account,

if you already have otherwise after clicking sign in, click on use another account, from here you would have a sign-in panel in which you can Click on Create Account to “sign up Google Account”.

    2)  Sign in For Google Account

Go to your chrome browser and in URL type Blogger.com, here you will be redirected to the new page, which would be Blogger Homepage.

Click on Create your blog. Now it will ask you to “google account sign in” (Google Credentials). For the first time, you need to set up a profile. Select either Google Plus Profile or BlogSpot Profile.

Recommended one is Google Plus Profile.

    3)  Create a New Blog

Now Google Dashboard is in front of you.

Go to the Left Upper Corner

From here you need to select ‘New Blog’ from the dropdown list.

   4)  Set up blog title, theme, and address

Now popup like screen will be in front of you, here you’ll find three options

a.   Title

b.   Address

c.   Theme

Fill in the title for your blog that you selected. Next, whatever text you’ll type in your address, it’ll be appended with ‘blogspot.com’ domain, but if you want to change this domain in the future you can change.

Next, you have to select a theme for your blog. It is possible to customize it later if you want to have changes in your theme.

    5)  Start your Blogger Blog

After completing the basic setup process for your blog, you have provided with Google Blogger Dashboard.

Now if you want to see your blog then

a)   Go to the left upper corner

b)  Under your blog name click view blog

c)   It will open your blog in a new window where you can see changes made by you.

As you have completed all the basic steps to create your google blog now you can start posting blogs after doing proper keyword research.

Just posting blogs is not enough because if your blogs wouldn’t have an impression on the search engine, who will see it, in turn, you will not get views. To make your blogs friendly with search engines you need to do some basic settings in your google blogger. 

MAKE YOUR BLOG SEARCH ENGINE FRIENDLY

To make your blog search engine friendly, first you need to go to your blog, from here on the left side you will see some sections for POST, COMMENT, PAGES, LAYOUT, and THEME, etc.

Click on SETTINGS to set basic stuff.

    a)   Under settings select basic

    b)   In the middle panel of your blog, you’ll see basic settings.

    c)   Title is the name of your blog, set according to your preferences.

    d)  Setting The description for your blog is a must. Set it very      carefully, it will be shown to search engine and your blog readers which means tell them what is your blog’s subject, what is your blog is serving about.

Under Publishing set your blog address according to your preference.

If you will type your blog name in your blog address it’ll be appended with “.blogspot.com”

i.e. example.blogspot.com

Don’t forget to set HTTPS redirect under HTTPS as it is an encrypted connection over the internet.

Remember it should be always on.

Change “Comment | Post | Sharing Settings”

As you know all your blog posts are published on your homepage. 
You need to do the optimization of your homepage.

Here you are provided some settings such as how many post do you want to show on the homepage, where should be the comment location etc. All these settings self-described, choose according to your needs.

In this section, you need to provide your first language in which you’ll post on your blog.

Meta Description should resemble the topic of your blog subject.

The length of your Meta Tag Description should be within 150 characters.

In this case, if someone visits your blog he may not find that page. Here you can tell them by text or HTML message that page doesn’t exist and what they should do now.

                                 By using this setting you will be able to redirect your broken links if your blog/website has any, to your blog/website. But there is a limitation in it. It works within the same URL of your blog/ website. In case you change your blog/website domain, then, in that case, it will not work.

Crawlers and Indexing:

                                        when you post blogs on your pages you need to submit it to the search console, where they have to be crawled and indexed by respective bots. Here you can set all these settings. Set them carefully as wrong settings here can harm your SERP (search engine ranking position) and you will not get better visibility in search engine for a long time.

Change Theme and Layout of your Blogger Blog

If you want to change and do some manipulations in the layout of your blog design then, you can do it very easily. You just need to go to the left of your blog. From there you have to select a theme if you wish to have new blogger templates for your blogger.

Select one of them to give new blog design to your free blog.

In case you want to change the layout of your theme then you can do this by going to the Layout option on the left of your blog/website. Here you can do manipulations in the menu, social widgets, sidebars, tabs, footer widgets, etc.

You can set logo for your blog, do some color manipulations here and set text style as you need.
